Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas

Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas is an inspiring all-female mariachi group that first took the stage at La Placita Olvera, a cherished cultural landmark in Los Angeles. Founded after our leader's journey from prestigious mariachis to creating her own female group in the USA, we are passionate about celebrating our musical heritage and empowering women in the industry.

Lazaro Arvizu

Lorena Kichik's passion began at the age of 10. Mexican-born, they launched her dance career in Los Angeles, CA—a journey that has taken her around the world and allowed her to work with and coach many talented artists.

Lazaro Arvizu is a long-time dance instructor at Plaza de la Raza, teaching and preserving the Azteca dance tradition. He is also a multi-talented artisan who specializes in beading, traditional Mexican feather work, and regalia. He began to study the arts and traditions of the Mexica tribe as a child in Mexico City and at an early age toured with Florencio Yescas’ Esplendor Azteca. He is the director of his own dance company Xipe Totec, which regularly travels and performs throughout the city including Placita Olvera as well various Native American gatherings, colleges, universities, and numerous other educational and cultural events throughout the United States

At the age of 15 she knew she wanted to be a DJ. Now several years later she is LAs favorite Latina DJ. Not only is she a DJ, she is a first gen graduate of CSUDH, a Program lead at Raytheon, is in real estate and most importantly, a mother to her 6 year old, Luna. Please welcome back DJ Royelle for her 4th time DJing for LatinaFest
